Passiflora cumbalensis  (Karst.) Harms;  Passifloraceae

Son plantas trepadoras con zarcillos filamentosos enrollados. Las hojas son alternas, miden hasta 14 cm de largo, tienen tres lóbulos más o menos triangulares; los bordes son aserrados. Las flores son solitarias, colgantes, miden hasta 10 cm de diámetro, de color violeta rosado, con un tubo largo que mide hasta 20 cm; los pétalos son rosados; las brácteas florales son de color verdoso azulado. El fruto es carnoso, de color amarillento.

Distribución: Desde el S Colombia al C Perú. En el PNC se encuentra en los bosques de Polylepis.

Climbers with thin curled tendrils. The leaves are alternate, up to 14 cm long, with 3 more or less triangular lobes, the margins serrate. The flowers are solitary, pendent, up to 10 cm in diameter, violet pink, with a long tube up to 20 cm; the petals are pink; the floral bracts are greenish bluish. The fruit is fleshy, yellowish.

Distribution: S Colombia to C Peru. In CNP it is found in the Polylepis forests.
